Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) is conducting “DESIGN-ATHON”, an online hackathon focussed towards the UI/UX for the prototype and upgrading design thinking capabilities of the student teams. 

The hackathon will include over 100 colleges and 10000 students across Telangana, the hackathon is being held in partnership with Hackmania, TASK, JNTU Hyderabad and The Deverakonda Foundation. 

Top three teams from the hackathon will be awarded trophies and internships at HYSEA’s corporate partners. The final winner announcement will be done by Sri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS - Principal Secretary at Government of Telangana and In-Charge Vice-Chancellor, JNTU Hyderabad.

The hackathon starts with the ideation where participants form teams and showcase their ideas/solutions after which they start building the prototypes. Mentors will be available online for the participants to help them with nurturing their ideas.

Important sub-events to be held:
1. Live Webinar for induction of colleges
2. Live Webinar for launching the hackathon
3. Live Webinar with UI/UX specialist to mentor participants with design thinking.
4. Online mentoring for all participants on the hackathon platform.
5. Live Webinar with Sri Jayesh Ranjan, announcing the winning teams and internships.
 
The jury will also be communicated with basic guidelines, detailed timeline and similar hackathon related information, soon after signing up.

Exclusive Invitation to be a Jury Member

The esteemed faculty members at participating colleges are invited to signup as a member of our jury team for the initial round of the hackathon and select the top 100 teams from all over Telangana in an unbiased evaluation process.

We will send a unique encrypted link and passcode for each jury member to see all the details of submissions and rate them accordingly. The average score of all the ratings will create the final leaderboard on the platform.
