The Academics and planning is headed by the director and assisted by co ordinator and other staff .it looks after academic and planning works of entire university which includes preparation of academic calendar constitution of board of studies in various disciplines conduct of BOS meetings revision of curricullum syllabi and academic regulations from time to time for UG,PG and research programes. This department is continiously monitoring the functioning of academic programes in private colleges affiliated to JNTU by conducting fact finding Inspections surprise  inspections  for  the   grant of  affiliation  for

every academic year.this department aquires the data and process the various affiliations to the colleges namely temporary affiliations provisional affiliations and permanent affiliations at present it is monitoring 354 colleges affiliated to JNTUH the detailed list is presented in Annexure-XVI.
Correspondence with MHRD UGC AICTE PCI DST and other agencies for recognition of UG and PG programes scholarships projects funds and grants This department is intiating executing and monitoring of memorandum of understanding (MOU’S)with International and national universities institutions industries and other private organizations. The detailed list of MOU Institutions are presented under global interaction heading It also process the clearance of the purchase of equipment furniture books and other stationary requirements of various constituent colleges and units of JNTUH by conducting university purchase committee meetings
