To meet the academic aspiration of the working Engineers, and Scientists the University has established the School of Continuing and Distance Education in 1983.

The school was originally offering B. Tech correspondence - cum - contact programme (CCC) from 1983 to 2009. Keeping in view of the AICTE guidelines the B. Tech (CCC) has been suspended since 2010. Now the University is contemplating to introduce following courses.

Post Graduate programmes in the correspondence - cum - contact mode
In the year 2008 JNT University Hyderabad has introduced the following PG programmes in correspondence – cum – contact mode.

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA) (3 years)
2. Master of Computer Applications (MCA) (3 years)

The University is also contemplating to introduce the following programmes under the correspondence – cum – contact mode.

1. M. Sc (Chemistry) (2 years)
2. PG diploma in Industrial Safety (1 year)
3. PG diploma in Supply Chain Management (1 year)
4. PG diploma in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (1 year)
